Chosen to supply expertise in State and Federal regulations

ANDOVER, MA – Cooperstown Environmental LLC recently announced that it has been selected by Curtiss-Wright Controls, Inc. (CWC) of Littleton, MA to assist in a variety of environmental compliance tasks.
According to James T. Curtis, P.E., LSP, Executive Vice-President of Cooperstown Environmental, “We are pleased that Curtiss-Wright Controls recognized our technical strengths in environmental compliance consulting, our responsiveness, and our cost effectiveness in selecting our firm for this important assignment.”
Cooperstown’s services to CWC are wide-ranging and will include Massachusetts Toxic Use Reduction Planning, the Department of Homeland Security Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) applicability assessment to determine if a DHS Top Screen Report is needed; Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA) submittals including the Form R filing; the Massachusetts Tank regulations; and other activities including industry benchmarking.
As a manufacturer of printed circuit boards, CWC’s Littleton facility is subject to a variety of environmental regulations. CWC recently became registered under the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard. Cooperstown Environmental will work with CWC in reviewing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and the preparation of submittals to regulatory agencies.
